AI Coding Assistants in Enterprises: Risk or Revolution?
Everyone who has ever worked in a large company knows: adopting new tools isn’t just about the technology. Policy, guidelines, security measures – these are just a few of the obstacles standing between enterprise developers and the promise of AI-assisted coding.
In this talk, Anastasia will look at the reality of agentic coding adoption in enterprises. What are these tools actually being used for? What hurdles do teams face when rolling them out? And is it worth the effort?
Whether you’re an individual developer curious about enterprise constraints, or a leader trying to navigate AI adoption in your organization, this talk will give you a grounded perspective on where things stand – and where they’re heading.
Solution Architect
My background is particle physics, where I was completely spoiled by access to large amounts of data and the freedom to try out every hot ML algorithm on it. The experiments I participated in were so-called large scale experiments (e.g Large Hadron Collider) and had from 500+ up to 2.5k other people working on them. So in addition to physics, I was exposed to the best software development practices that helped us to avoid a complete mess and destroy the Universe. Currently I'm busy with pushing forward ML/AI as Solution Architect at Vattenfall. My focus here is on driving AI initiatives across multiple levels and leading the team on implementing ML/AI based solutions. In my free time I'm Mentor, specializing in career transitions in Data and AI.
